"Art has always been a means to present my complex feelings about nature, which are more than I can see by direct observation. I prefer abstract expressionism because this style gives me more freedom. My goal has been to develop a personal and creative vision that is distinct and satisfies my thoughts and imagination. That included exploring new approaches to space, and composition in painting and finding fresh possibilities in forms and technique. The result is a dreamlike encounter with nature through colors and forms, since the resulting forms and colors expand beyond the logical world and into the world of dream and illusion"
